Since before Canada was a nation, the lawyers of WeirFoulds have been proud to serve the needs of discriminating clients with their most difficult and complex matters.  We are, and aspire to be, the firm of choice for clients with exceptionally challenging problems within our chosen practice areas.  This focus is reflected in our lawyers.  An impressively large percentage of our partnership is comprised of people who are recognized by their peers as leaders in their fields.

PROFESSION

Past and current lawyers have distinguished themselves as Treasurers (heads) and Benchers (governors) of the Law Society of Upper Canada, which is the regulatory body for the legal profession in Ontario, as presidents of the Canadian Bar Association and other legal bodies, as recipients of the Law Society Medal for contributions to the legal profession, and as recipients of the Order of Canada for contributions to Canadian public life. Many of our lawyers also sit on bar committees, such as the Committee examining amendments to the Rules of Civil Procedure.
