Kayla Theeuwen is an associate in the  litigation practice group at WeirFoulds LLP. Kayla has a practice that includes a diverse range of civil, commercial and competition law matters.

Kayla joined WeirFoulds as an associate after summering and articling with the firm.

Kayla received her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa in 2014. She played an active role mentoring other students through the University of Ottawa's Women's Legal Mentorship Program. During law school, Kayla created and completed an internship with the legal department at SickKids hospital in Toronto, and later worked with the legal services team at Canadian Blood Services in Ottawa.

Prior to law school, Kayla attended McMaster University where she graduated summa cum laude from the Honours Bachelor of Science program.

Kayla practises in a variety of civil and commercial litigation matters.
