CBA Competition Law Fall Conference
WeirFoulds partner Nikiforos Iatrou will moderate a discussion at the CBA Competition Law Fall Conference Thursday, October 26.
The conference will discuss the implications of innovation for the practice and enforcement of competition law, as well as other key developments and hot topics in Canadian competition and foreign investment law.
Niki will moderate a discussion on the topic, “Competitor collaborations and antitrust compliance in a connected world”. The session covers existing and emerging technologies create opportunities for pro-competitive collaborations but also create risks of increased coordination and decreased competitive rivalry. Panellists will discuss a variety of topics including the competition law implications of the use of artificial intelligence, algorithms, benchmarking, R&D collaborations, and best practices for compliance.
The session will also be worth 1.25 substantive CPD hours.
