Partner Janet Bobechko will speak at the inaugural ESG Summit Canada, which will be held on Wednesday, October 12 at Vantage Venues Toronto.

This inaugural summit will bring together senior legal professionals and ESG experts alike to address the mission-critical issue facing in-house counsel, law firms, and organizations alike. From climate change and managing board-room proxy risks, to green washing and disclosure requirements, this summit will provide solutions for many of today’s greatest challenges.

Janet will take part in a panel titled "ESG focused climate related issues: best practices for setting and communicating targets for reducing carbon footprint" at 1:20 p.m. The panel will address the initiatives that a growing number of companies are establishing in order to reduce their carbon footprint, placing them on the path to net zero emission targets. Topics covered will include establishing corporate strategies for reducing and offsetting carbon footprints, developments in climate related disclosure issues, advisement for organizations on navigating to reduce carbon footprint targets, and more.
