Municipal Debt Management: Webinar 4 – Municipal Finance Officers’ Association of Ontario

WeirFoulds Partner Heather Douglas will be speaking at the Municipal Debt Management – Webinar 4 being hosted by the Municipal Finance Officers’ Association of Ontario (MFOA) on June, 17, 2021.

In this webinar, participants will get an overview of the process that municipalities follow to borrow long-term in Ontario. Different long-term borrowing alternatives will be considered including borrowing through the Infrastructure Ontario loan program and issuing debentures in the capital markets with the support of a bank or bank syndicate.
