Ontario Professional Planning Institute Conference

WeirFoulds partners Denise Baker and Jeff Cowan and associate Jennifer Meader will be speaking at the 2017 Ontario Professional Planning Institute (OPPI) Conference.

Denise will speak on October 3 in the panel discussion, “What Would Thomas Adams Do*? An Interactive Discussion about OPPI’s Professional Code of Practice and OPPI’s Complaint Process“.

*Thomas Adams was a pioneer of urban planning and has been referred to as the godfather of Canadian planning.

Jeff Cowan and Jennifer Meader with both speak on October 5 on, “Dispute Resolution Approaches – Mediation and Arbitration“. In this presentation participants will learn the key differences between arbitration and mediation, how to select the right approach and what the planner’s role entails.
