Tackling Financial Abuse of Elders – The Osgoode Certificate in Elder Law
WeirFoulds Partner Clare Burns will be speaking on Tackling Financial Abuse of Elders on April 21, 2021, as part of the Osgoode Certificate in Elder Law scheduled for March 31, April 7, 13, 21 and 28, 2021. The program will be fully online.
Over five, intensive one-day modules – spread out over multiple weeks – participants will develop a comprehensive knowledge, gain practical and relevant information of the various areas of law that intersect with caring for elderly clients and expand your professional network.
This program goes beyond the traditional approach to the subject matter and explores the aging process to better understand the circumstances of older adults. There is emphasis on skills-based learning, with in-class lectures being supplemented with group exercises, role play simulations, case studies and peer interactions.
