Toronto Regulatory & Compliance Forum – Portfolio Management Association of Canada

Partner Susan Han will be attending the Toronto Regulatory & Compliance Forum as a panel speaker on Thursday, May 26. The Forum will last from 1:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and is being hosted by the Portfolio Management Association of Canada (PMAC), marking a return to in-person events. The half-day event features a CSA Regulator Panel and topics such as leveraging behavioural insights to effectively communicate with clients, break-out rooms to discuss compliance hot topics, and more.

Susan will speak during the Private Client Hot Topics panel from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM, which help firms navigate some of the key compliance challenges facing private client firms. Panelists will review the current regulation and explore implementation challenges through hypothetical case studies covering marketing practices/benchmarking, conflicts of interest, KYC/suitability and more, followed by a Q&A session.
