Janice Philteos is an associate in the Construction Law Practice Group at WeirFoulds with a practice that encompasses a variety of issues within the construction industry including liens, negligence, breach of contract, and delay claims.
Janice completed her articling term at the firm where she gained experience assisting with the representation of owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and project managers in a wide variety of disputes.
Prior to her articling term, Janice completed her Juris Doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School. She represented Osgoode in the Davies Corporate/Securities Moot where her and her team won second place and she was recognized as one of the top oral advocates. Janice also participated in Osgoode’s Mediation Clinic and mediated several claims at the Small Claims Court.
In her free time, Janice enjoys building and reupholstering furniture, trying new restaurants, and kickboxing.
