WeirFoulds LLP is seeking a lawyer at the associate level to join our thriving Commercial Litigation Practice Group.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years of commercial litigation experience working on complex litigation files
  • Experience in estates and environmental litigation would be advantageous
  • Excellent drafting skills
  • Strong legal, advocacy and organizational skills
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Ability to work with lawyers at all levels and be a team player
  • Able to balance competing demands as well as being self-motivated, innovative and flexible
  • Confidence to manage files and clients independently

The successful candidate will work with our team of commercial litigators on a variety of challenging, sophisticated and complex litigation cases, representing a broad range of clients.

  • Ability to work with lawyers at all levels and be a team player

The successful candidate will work with our experienced team of lawyers on a variety of challenging and diverse matters ranging from financing and regulatory matters, including initial public offerings, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and stock exchange listing applications. Our lawyers represent private and public corporations, investment banks, financial institutions, issuers, underwriters and selling shareholders.
