  • At least 3-7 years of corporate/M&A experience
  • Strong technical and legal knowledge
  • Demonstrated strengths in entrepreneurialism including client service, client relationships and client development
  • Ability to work with lawyers at all levels, excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player
  • Able to balance competing demands as well as being self-motivated, innovative and flexible
  • Confidence to manage files and clients independently
  • Excellent academic credentials

The successful candidate will work with our team of corporate lawyers on a variety of challenging, sophisticated and diverse matters representing a broad range of both start-ups, entrepreneurial companies, established Canadian companies and Canadian subsidiaries of US-based or multinational corporations. You will be assisting clients with corporate and commercial matters, including corporate structuring, reorganizations, corporate financing, mergers and acquisitions, and banking and financial services matters.
