WeirFoulds Partner Frank Walwyn will speak at the 20th Annual Civil Litigator’s Survival Guide to Evidence 2026, a leading professional development program presented by Osgoode Law School, on February 3, 2026.
The Civil Litigator’s Survival Guide to Evidence brings together members of the bench and experienced litigators to examine current evidentiary challenges, emerging issues, and best practices in civil proceedings.
In the early afternoon, Frank will participate in "Substantive Evidentiary Issues: Hearsay, Browne v. Dunn, Prior Inconsistent Statements, and Admissibility Challenges". The session will unpack some of the most challenging and frequently litigated evidentiary rules that arise frequently in civil litigation and explore how the courts are applying the hearsay exceptions, the Rule in Browne v. Dunn, and the treatment of prior inconsistent statements.
The program will be delivered as a live online webinar, with a scheduled replay available on March 31, 2026 following the live session.
