WeirFoulds LLP is pleased to announce that executive partner Lisa Borsook has been named once again as a recipient in the Women’s Executive Network’s (WXN) Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Awards in the RBC Champion Category. This is the third time Lisa has been named to this list. In 2013 she was recognized in the KPMG Professionals category, and in 2014 in the RBC Champions category.
These awards celebrate and highlight the professional achievements of women across the country in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
Lisa’s exceptional skills as an accomplished lawyer, a committed role model, and a dedicated contributor to her community have benefited our firm and her clients. A leading authority in property development, commercial leasing and infrastructure, Lisa represents local, national and international clients in her practice areas.
As an RBC Champion, Lisa is recognized as a dedicated mentor, role model and agent of change to advance women in the Canadian workplace. Lisa has used her unique position as one of Canada’s first female law-firm managing partners to promote the advancement of women lawyers. She is also passionate about women serving on boards, and about diversity initiatives within the legal profession and Canadian business world. The award also recognizes Lisa’s long-standing commitment and involvement in a number of charities, including the Women’s Brain Health Initiative, where she has served on the board since 2012.
We congratulate Lisa on her very well-deserved and highly regarded public recognition, and thank her for her commitment to excellence and innovation within the legal industry.
