Amaki Otuteye is an Associate in the Securities Practice Group at WeirFoulds LLP.

Before joining WeirFoulds, Amaki worked as Legal Counsel in the Corporate Finance department for the Ontario Securities Commission, where she was responsible for reviewing applications for exemptive relief as well as reviewing preliminary, base shelf, and final prospectuses, and conducting continuous disclosure reviews on public issuers.

Prior to this, Amaki was an Associate Securities Lawyer at a Toronto-based, full-service law firm. In this role, she conducted private placement financings, drafted offering memorandums, completed continuous disclosure requirements for Canadian Securities Exchange listed companies, and completed corporate reorganizations, including estate freezes, amongst other responsibilities.

Outside of her practice, Amaki enjoys weightlifting, running and reading.
