
Damian Di Biase is an Associate in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group at WeirFoulds LLP.
Damian’s practice focuses on commercial and civil litigation.
Prior to joining WeirFoulds, Damian practised at a prominent Toronto litigation firm, where he independently managed a broad litigation caseload. Damian has extensive experience in advising clients on litigation, settlement, and enforcement strategies across a range of disputes, including insurance and commercial litigation matters. He routinely appeared before the Superior Court of Justice on a wide range of motions and applications, took matters to trial at the Small Claims Court, and assisted with matters before the Divisional Court, Ontario Court of Appeal, and Alberta Court of Appeal.
Damian received his Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law, where he graduated cum laude. Academically, he completed a litigation practicum focused on trial and appellate advocacy, interned with the Department of Justice and Ontario Court of Justice, and served as a legal writing leader with the Faculty’s Legal Writing Academy. Outside of the classroom, Damian co-founded the Allies in Law mentorship program, and coordinated “Lobbycon,” a student-led conference focused on lobbying government officials for immigration and refugee policy change. Damian also holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, where he graduated with High Distinction and was awarded the Silver Medal.
