As Head of Human Resources at WeirFoulds, Melanie is responsible for leading the firm’s HR strategy and operation, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and overseeing talent acquisition, development, and retention initiatives. She works closely with leadership to align HR programs with Firm goals and ensure compliance with best practices in employment standards and employee engagement.

Melanie brings extensive experience in human resources leadership and executive coaching across professional services and corporate environments, with deep expertise in talent strategy, employee experience, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development. She is known for shaping modern, data-driven HR functions that enable performance, retention, and strong leadership culture across complex organizations.

Prior to joining WeirFoulds, Melanie was a Partner, Culture and People at a global professional services firm. She built and evolved core HR capabilities—including talent acquisition, performance, leadership development, inclusion, and HR technology—and drove large-scale transformations that strengthened the employee experience and operational effectiveness.
