Mitesh Velani

Working closely with the Management Committee, Mitesh provides leadership and oversight for developing, implementing and monitoring the Firm’s financial strategies, policies, operations and systems. Mitesh also oversees the ongoing transformation of the Firm’s IT and administration functions and teams.

Mitesh brings over 10 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles at law firms and private organizations, with a focus on process improvements, business strategy and planning, pricing, and project management.

Prior to joining WeirFoulds, Mitesh was the National Director of Innovation and Financial Systems at a national Canadian law firm, where he was responsible for the entire revenue cycle from conflicts to collections. This included overseeing the internal business, accounting and analytics systems that the firm relied on for substantial scaling. He also managed relationships with clients to help further the firm’s brand.
