Sara Bolourchian

Prior to joining WeirFoulds, Sara was an Associate at a leading full-service Bay Street commercial law firm, where she regularly advocated for clients across a wide range of civil, commercial and public law disputes, including high‑stakes contractual matters, professional negligence matters and administrative appeals. Her practice also includes media and defamation law, where she assists media organizations and journalists with pre‑publication reviews, defamation disputes, and access to information requests.

In 2022 – 2023, Sara worked in leading commercial and public law chambers in London, England as a Harold G. Fox Scholar. As a Fox Scholar, Sara also marshalled judges in various courts, including the UK Supreme Court.

Sara completed her JD at the University of Toronto where she achieved awards in several competitive moots, including the University of Oxford’s International Intellectual Property Moot.
