Veronica Cesario is an Associate in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group at WeirFoulds LLP.

Before joining WeirFoulds, Veronica practiced as a Litigation Associate at a prominent Toronto multi practice firm, where she acted on complex collection and enforcement matters involving commercial loans, secured transactions, and mortgage related disputes. She appeared regularly before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice on a wide range of motions and applications, and she provided strategic advice to institutional and private lender clients on enforcement options, settlement pathways, and risk management.

Veronica obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, graduating cum laude and earning placement on the Dean’s Honour List. She also graduated summa cum laude from her Bachelor of Social Sciences in Criminology program. During her JD studies, she gained hands on experience as a caseworker with the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic supporting clients with residential tenancy matters and developing practical advocacy skills. Veronica co founded a student mentorship program launched during the COVID 19 pandemic, served as a Legal Writing Leader with the Faculty’s Legal Writing Academy, and competed in the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot.
