WeirFoulds is pleased to announce that Sandra Astolfo has been selected as the 2019 recipient of the Ontario Bar Association’s Construction and Infrastructure Law Awards of Excellence. She will be presented with the award on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at the OBA’s Construction and Infrastructure Law Section’s year-end dinner.
The Ontario Bar Association has established an Award of Excellence to recognize exceptional contributions by individuals both to the law and the construction bar. The Award Selection Committee makes the final selection based on a number of criteria, including the candidate’s excellence in construction law matters.
“Sandra is highly deserving of this award,” says Glenn Ackerley, Chair of WeirFoulds’ Construction Law Practice Group. “She exemplifies the construction lawyer who serves clients with remarkable commitment, treats fellow members of the profession with respect and integrity, and raises the bar for everyone through her leadership in education, mentoring and voluntary service. She does it all, and does it extremely well.”
On top of Sandra’s selection, it was also reported that she had the highest number of nominations from her colleagues and peers. Sandra is the youngest and first female recipient of this award.
