As we start a new year and as the pandemic continues, it is increasingly difficult to continue to feel connected as we manoeuvre through the day-to-day challenges that arise from working from home, being isolated from friends and family, and managing our physical and mental health. At WeirFoulds, we recognize this, and we take it very seriously.
As of 2021 and as part of our commitment to wellness, we are pleased to introduce extended Mental Health Support Coverage for all of our employees and their eligible dependents. Our mental health support coverage for services provided by licenced Psychologists/Social Workers has been increased to $2,000 per year.
In addition to the increased coverage, our new and improved Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP), LifeBalance, is also available to all employees who are enrolled in WeirFoulds’ group benefits and it is covered entirely by the firm. Employees and their eligible family members can receive confidential support, 24/7 from LifeBalance’s professional counsellors by secure video or telephone. They also offer a number of health and wellness resources, with online tools to help you manage your and your family’s health.
