WeirFoulds is proud to provide continued support to the Queen’s Entrepreneurs’ Competition (QEC) for 2017, one of the longest-running and best-known undergraduate start-up competitions in the world.
This is firm’s second year sponsoring the competition which selects 15 teams from around the globe, inviting them to Toronto to pitch their business plan to a panel of Canadian business leaders.
Michael McIsaac, associate, WeirFoulds attended the gala and presented the In-Kind Prize donation to Luminopia. Luminopia, founded in January 2016 and a MassChallenge silver award winner, creates consumer facing treatments that improve the quality of life for those suffering from visual disorders by extracting the full potential of virtual reality technology.
Congratulations for Penta Medical for winning the grand prize of $50,000 and to Knote for winning the runner-up prize of $25,000.
