WeirFoulds lawyers volunteer time for Make a Will Month

November is Make a Will month and the Toronto Public Library and the Ontario Bar Association have teamed up to bring lawyers to local library branches.

WeirFoulds partner Caroline Abela (Chair of the Ontario Bar Association Estate and Trust Section) and associates Hayley Peglar and Megan Mah will volunteer their time to share their expertise in wills and estates law with members of the community.

The sessions will help attendees learn the importance of having a will and how having a will and powers of attorney can help their families. To date, these free legal information sessions across Toronto have draw 500 people in first two weeks.
