A Canadian national named Andean Medjedovic has been indicted in the Eastern District of New York on charges of wire fraud, computer hacking, and attempted extortion, following allegations that he was responsible for more than US$50 million in digital tokens being fraudulently removed from liquidity pools on the Indexed Finance and KyberSwap trading platforms.
The documentary summarizes key developments in the case, including Mr. Bathgate’s court appearances, the obtaining and execution of an Anton Piller order on a digital wallet and related investigations, the movement of cryptocurrency assets following a freezing order, judicial intervention and the issuance of a civil bench warrant for Mr. Medjedovic’s arrest, and the investigative process by law enforcement as they continue to search for Mr. Medjedovic.
