WeirFoulds Partner Caroline Abela Appointed Chair of the OBA Trusts and Estates Law Section

WeirFoulds is pleased to announce that partner Caroline Abela has been appointed Chair of the Ontario Bar Association’s Trusts and Estates Law Section.

As a member of the Trusts and Estates executive, Caroline, along with a team of executive members, is responsible for facilitating learning, advocacy and networking on behalf of the Ontario Bar Association’s Trusts and Estates Law practitioners.

Caroline is experienced in complex estates and trusts litigation and commercial and corporate litigation. She represents clients ranging from large corporations and institutions to small business owners and professionals. Caroline has been recognized as a leading practitioner in the 2016 Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory – Commercial and Corporate Litigation and in 2017 was named a fellow of the American Bar Foundation.

Caroline will assume her role on August 15, 2017.
