WeirFoulds Partner Frank Walwyn will speak at the OECS Bar Association’s Regional Law Conference in St. Kitts

WeirFoulds Partner Frank Walwyn will speak at the OECS Bar Association’s 15th Regional Law Conference in St. Kitts, which runs from September 14-16, 2018. The theme of this year’s conference is “Transforming Influence of Technology on the Law.” On the first day of the conference, Frank will discuss the importance of authentication in an era of e-commerce, and how it impacts cases involving fraud and theft.

Also attending the conference as delegates are Nadia Chiesa and Kayla Theeuwen. The Caribbean Practice Group has a wealth of experience litigating precedent-setting cases and advising on complex corporate and contentious trust matters in the Caribbean.

The OECS Bar Association is an organization of legal practitioners and representative Bar Associations all functioning within and under the jurisdiction of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court. The Regional Law Conference is an annual event designed to bring together members from various bar associations throughout the Caribbean and beyond. It is intended to provide an opportunity for continuing legal education to members of the legal profession, judiciary, and the public.
