WeirFoulds is a proud continued supporter of The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto. Since 2005, the firm and its employees have made numerous donations, and initiated and participated in various fundraising events in support of SickKids Foundation. We are pleased to report that as of 2020, these activities have raised more than $100,000 for the charity.
To recognize the contributions of WeirFoulds’ lawyers, staff, clients and peers, SickKids has listed the firm as a Patron of SickKids, which is noted in the 2019-20 Annual Report and will be reflected on a plaque on the Donor Wall of the hospital.
SickKids, affiliated with the University of Toronto, is Canada’s most research-intensive hospital and the largest centre dedicated to improving children’s health in the country. As innovators in child health, SickKids improves the health of children by integrating care, research and teaching.
We are pleased to have contributed to SickKids over the last 15 years and we are grateful to the front-line workers, researchers, scientists and staff who put these funds to use for the betterment of children’s health.
