WeirFoulds is pleased to announce that David Knight has joined the firm as a senior partner in the Securities Practice Group.
David is widely recognized for his more than 30 years of experience advising clients on a broad range of securities matters, including public and private financing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and regulatory compliance. He regularly represents both issuers and investment dealers.
David also has a successful mining practice and frequently represents clients on property acquisition and development, including option and joint venture agreements, and has extensive experience in flow-through financing.

David brings with him a wealth of experience that ranges from advising market-entry companies to handling some of the most significant transactions in Canada. David also has significant experience in corporate governance and the responsibilities of directors and officers. He also acts for independent committees of directors in take-over bids, going-private transactions and related-party transactions.
