WeirFoulds Partner and Chair of the Construction Practice Group, Glenn Ackerley, will be speaking at the International Bar Association (IBA) Annual Conference Copenhagen 2026 during the session, "Defect notification period obligations: regulatory frameworks, transfer of rights to subsequent owners, direct claims against sub-contractors and decennial liability."

The session, presented by the IBA's International Construction Projects Committee, will examine how different jurisdictions address defect notification requirements and related construction law issues, including the transfer of rights to subsequent owners, direct claims against subcontractors, and decennial liability.

The conference takes place October 4-9, 2026, in Copenhagen, Denmark.
