Partner Raj Kehar will attend The Eight-Minute Municipal Lawyer 2024, an online-only program that will be hosted by the Law Society of Ontario on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024.

The program is the fast track to all the recent developments and perennial issues in municipal law. Attendees will hear from a mix of lawyers from the private bar and in-house lawyers from municipalities about a broad range of important topics. Topics will include:

• Hear about recent cases on constructive expropriation
• Acquire strategies to manage uncertainty in the planning process
• Understand changes to municipal land use application processes following Bill 109
• Get an update from the Ontario Land Tribunal
• Learn what is required by the duty to consult with First Nations
