Jeff Scorgie

Jeff Scorgie has a practice involving representing owners, developers, contractors, design professionals and subcontractors in all manner of contract disputes, litigation and arbitration.

Jeff assists his clients in drafting and negotiating contracts and routinely provides  strategic advice in respect of requests for proposals, tenders and procurement policies. Jeff also has experience acting for a diverse range of clients on complex infrastructure, public-private-partnership and alternative financing and procurement projects.

Jeff gives back to the construction industry by providing his knowledge and insight as an instructor of the “Law and Construction Contracts” course at the School of Construction Management and Trades / School of Architectural Studies at George Brown College.

Before joining WeirFoulds, Jeff received a Bachelor of Arts (specializing in Political Science) from the University of Toronto in 2011. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa in 2014.
