Kelin Algayer is an Associate in the Municipal, Planning and Land Development Practice Group at WeirFoulds LLP.

Kelin advises and represents both private and public sector clients on a broad range of land use planning, municipal, development, and expropriation matters. Her practice includes appearances before the Ontario Courts, the Ontario Land Tribunal, and other administrative bodies, where she assists clients in securing planning approvals, obtaining compensation in expropriation matters, and navigating appeals and court applications under planning, municipal, and development legislation. She also supports clients with development applications and provides research based guidance on planning policy, municipal authority, and expropriation processes.

Before joining the firm as a lawyer, Kelin worked at WeirFoulds as both an Articling Student and a Summer Student.

Early in her career, Kelin practised law in Brazil, where she gained extensive experience in litigation, as well as in environmental, administrative and public law. Prior to joining WeirFoulds, Kelin was a Senior Associate Lawyer at a leading environmental law boutique located in Sao Paulo.
