Max Gennis is a Partner in the Construction Law Practice Group at WeirFoulds LLP.
Max has significant experience representing a wide variety of parties in complex lien, contract, trust and delay claims, as well as providing legal advice in all aspects of large-scale construction and infrastructure projects throughout Canada. Max also works with clients in drafting, negotiating and applying all manner of construction contracts.
Prior to joining WeirFoulds, Max practised as Senior Legal Counsel for a national infrastructure company, where he oversaw all legal matters involved with responding to competitive procurements and closing successful bids, and advised active projects on all relevant legal issues from commencement to completion, including drafting and negotiating agreements, contract management, and dispute resolution.
Outside of practising law, Max serves on the Board of Directors for Camp B’nai Brith of Ottawa, and is a passionate music and sports fan.
