Siraj Syed is an Associate in the Municipal, Planning & Land Development and Expropriation Practice Groups at WeirFoulds LLP.

Prior to joining WeirFoulds, Siraj was an Associate at a law firm in the Waterloo region with a practice focused on Municipal Law. During this time, he served as first chair to an 18-day Ontario Land Tribunal hearing regarding a zoning by-law amendment and an aggregate pit referral, and successfully brough an inunction application involving Section 28 of the Municipal Act, 2001. Additionally, he drafted a variety of litigation documents (including facta, statements of claims, motions and settlement materials), prepared legal opinions for public institutions, and prepared and reviewed a broad spectrum of solicitor-side documents.
