Sophie Porter is an Associate in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group at WeirFoulds LLP.
Before joining the firm as a lawyer, Sophie developed her legal expertise with WeirFoulds as both an Articling Student and Summer Student, where she worked on a broad range of commercial disputes and litigation matters. Her experience includes conducting legal research, drafting memoranda and court materials, and assisting with matters at various stages of the litigation process.
She received her Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, where she also spent a semester abroad at the National University of Singapore.
Prior to joining the firm, Sophie summered with a non-profit law firm focused on prison advocacy and administrative law.
