Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers is an editorial competition that recognizes the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that offer Canada’s best workplaces and forward-thinking human resources policies. It is co-hosted by The Globe and Mail and Mediacorp Canada Inc.
“Law is a business that’s constantly evolving so we have to keep up,” says Wayne Egan, Managing Partner. “We try to humanize the way we treat each other and our clients, and we’re good at it. There are many excellent law firms in Toronto, but we have a great culture as well.”
WeirFoulds will be recognized with the other 2019 award recipients at a celebratory lunch on Friday, April 12.

“This is very progressive firm,” says Sandra Noe, a Law Clerk in the Regulatory Practice Group with 30 years’ experience in the legal field. “At other firms where I have worked, I haven’t seen the same level of involvement in issues that are relevant to the times. It’s a very nurturing culture.”
To be considered a “Small or Medium Enterprise”, nominees must have less than 500 employees worldwide, including employees at any affiliated companies, and be a commercial, for-profit enterprise.
