On February 15, 2022, Minto Communities GTA announced that it acquired a Master-Planned Community in Toronto’s Mimico neighbourhood for a total of $129M.
WeirFoulds represented the vendor, Freed Grand Park Development Inc., with a team consisting of Partner Patrick Nugent and Associate Talia Rotman.
The Mimico neighbourhood site is called Grand Park Village and will have approximately 6 towers, 32 stories and 1824 suites. Located at Royal York Rd and The Queensway the site is moments from the city’s highly sought-after amenities including the Mimico GO Station, Gardiner Expressway, Kipling and Islington Station, CF Sherway Gardens, Big Box Stores and much more.
