His multidisciplinary background in law, business and finance enables him to deliver practical, strategic advice that aligns with clients’ broader business objectives.

Recognized for his commitment to legal education and advocacy, Akiva teaches mooting and advocacy courses at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University and frequently guest lectures at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. He is a leading author and speaker on legal rhetoric, mooting and advocacy, and is the author of Moot: How to Win in Fake Court and Other Valuable Lessons in Legal Rhetoric. He also founded a competitive moot program that helps prepare more than 90 law students annually for the practice of law.
