WeirFoulds welcomes three associates to the partnership

WeirFoulds is pleased to announce that on January 1st, 2023, three of our associates became partners.

Shawn English – Corporate & Commercial
Shawn’s practice primarily focuses on advising and assisting both early stage and middle-market private companies from a diverse range of industries on a variety of corporate and commercial matters. These matters include acquisition and divestiture transactions, financing transactions (both debt and equity), corporate structuring and reorganizations, corporate governance matters, shareholder disputes and preparation and negotiation of complex commercial agreements.

Micah Goldstein – Municipal
Micah’s practice is focused on expropriation and land use planning law. He has acted for municipal authorities and expropriated landowners throughout Ontario. Micah has represented clients before the Ontario Superior Court, several Administrative Boards and Tribunals, and private arbitrators.

Abbey Sinclair – Municipal
Abbey’s practice focuses on expropriation and municipal law. She provides practical and strategic advice to municipalities and public authorities on various land, expropriation, and infrastructure-related issues. Abbey also represents landowners in a wide range of expropriation and real property litigation matters.
