Robert Eisenberg

Robert acts for landlords and tenants across Canada in all commercial asset classes (retail, industrial, office, and infrastructure). He also has specialized experience in dealing with complicated leasing structures including mixed-use developments, ground leasing, energy projects, airport hangars, build-to-suits, and aggregate extraction.

Robert is recognized in the Canadian commercial leasing bar as a leader. He was included as one of the Best Lawyers in Canada in Commercial Leasing Law (2026) after having previously being named as “One to Watch”. He currently serves on the ICSC Canadian Legal Conference’s Executive Planning Committee (and served as Chair for the 2025 conference) and on the Ontario Bar Association’s Real Property Law Section Executive. Robert is also a frequent speaker, having been repeatedly invited to speak at the Law Society of Ontario’s Eight Minute Commercial Leasing Lawyer series, The Buildings Show, and PM Springfest.
