On October 17, 2025, it was announced that Lorne Park Capital Partners Inc. completed a previously announced plan of arrangement with Sagard Private Equity Canada. The arrangement saw an affiliate of Sagard Private Equity acquire all issued and outstanding shares of Lorne Park at the rate of CAD $2.23 per share in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately CAD $126.8 million.
As a result of the arrangement, Lorne Park was delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange at the end of trading hours on October 20, and it has submitted an application to the relevant securities commissions to cease being a reporting issuer under applicable Canadian securities laws.

The completion of this arrangement marks a milestone for WeirFoulds’ longstanding involvement with Lorne Park, as the firm originally represented it as a private company in its “going public” transaction in 2013.
