As members of their respective OBA Law Section Executives, our lawyers will contribute to the advancement of their practice areas by supporting professional development initiatives, organizing educational programming, publishing thought leadership pieces, contributing to policy discussions, and helping shape the future direction of their Sections.
Jeff G. Cowan, Partner, has been elected Member-at-Large of the Administrative Law Section. Jeff’s practice focuses on municipal, planning and administrative law matters, and he regularly advises both public and private sector clients on complex regulatory issues.
Robert Eisenberg, Partner, has been elected to the Real Property Law Section as a CPD Liaison. Robert is a leading commercial leasing lawyer who advises landlords and tenants across a broad range of leasing matters throughout Canada.
Matt Gaulton, Associate, has been elected Member-at-Large of the Insolvency Law Section. Matt advises clients on insolvency, restructuring and commercial litigation matters, representing lenders, businesses and other stakeholders in complex proceedings.
Kathleen Gregus, Associate, has been elected Member-at-Large of the Construction and Infrastructure Law Section. Kathleen’s practice encompasses construction-related disputes and infrastructure matters, and she advises clients throughout all stages of the construction process.
Narmada Gunawardana, Associate, has been elected to the Municipal Law Section as a Public Affairs Liaison. Narmada advises public and private sector clients on land use planning and municipal law matters and regularly appears before the Ontario Land Tribunal.
Vipal Jain, Associate, has been elected Vice-Chair of the Privacy Law Section. Vipal advises clients on privacy, cybersecurity, technology and regulatory matters, helping organizations navigate evolving legal and compliance obligations in an increasingly complex digital environment.
Nikolas Koschany, Associate, has been elected Vice-Chair of the Administrative Law Section and Member-at-Large of the Municipal Law Section. Nikolas practises in the areas of land use planning, expropriation, municipal and administrative law, regularly representing clients before tribunals, municipal councils and the courts on complex development and regulatory matters.
Andreea Muth, Partner, has been elected Public Affairs Liaison of the Business Law Section and Member-at-Large of the Sexual & Gender Diversity Alliance Section. Andreea advises businesses, entrepreneurs and investors on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, with experience guiding clients through transactions, governance matters and strategic business decisions.
Anagha Nandakumaran, Associate, has been elected Chair of the Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law Section. Anagha advises clients on a broad range of technology and commercial matters, including emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, cloud services and strategic technology transactions. Having previously served as Vice-Chair of the Section, she will now help lead its programming, initiatives and strategic direction for the 2026-2027 term.
Natasha Novac, Associate, has been elected Member-at-Large of the Health Law Section. Natasha’s practice focuses on professional regulation, with an emphasis on the prosecution of professional misconduct matters and the defence of regulators and colleges in civil and human rights proceedings.
Jonah Waxman, Partner, has been elected Newsletter Editor of the Elder Law Section. Jonah maintains a broad litigation practice and advises clients on estate, trust and capacity-related disputes, regularly appearing before trial and appellate courts across Ontario.
